Recently, we got the chance to chat with beauty and style blogger, Ashley Maree Beauty! Check out the low down below.

1. What are your top trends for summer?
My top trends for summer accessory-wise are cute dangly earrings, oversized sunnies, layering chokers, backpacks and mini bags. If I’m going out, a clutch is my number one necessity. Coming into summer, my favourite colours (besides the obvious lust for rose gold) are pastels.

My favourite summer makeup look is definitely dewy, bronze skin with copious amounts of highlighter. I do struggle with the natural makeup look which is supposedly a summer staple so I’d pair it up with some big lashes.

2. What is your ultimate dream bag?
This is a very hard question! Probably a mini bag in a blush pink with rose gold hardware, fine detailing and also a fluffy pom-pom. I’m obsessed with attaching them to my pouches and bags right now.

3. Tell us about your Rose Gold Appreciation group!
Well my friend Emily (@themakeupgrub on Instagram) and I came up with a group called the “Rose Gold Addict Support Group” because we both had a mutual love for rose-gold décor, accessories and so forth. We thought this was a great way to share our cute finds with fellow addicts, which sounded like a good idea in reality but not really for our wallets. It was then decided we called the group “Marble and Rose Gold Addict Support Group” as a lot of us also adore the marble design.

4. What would you love to see more at Colette?
I would love to see maybe some rose gold and marble trinket trays, magnetic travel palettes for makeup, makeup brushes and LOTS of cute iPhone 7 Plus cases. I am also currently LOVING mini bags – I’ll take one in every colour please.

5. You can only pick one – rose gold or marble?
Oh my gosh, so difficult! It would have to be rose gold as I’m a magpie at heart. Give me something shiny and I’ll be happy.
